
In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya district, a 25-year-old man was brutally murdered just 15 days after his marriage. According to the police, the victim, Dilip Yadav, was allegedly killed by a contract killer hired by his wife, Pragati Yadav, and her lover, Anurag alias Manoj. The incident has stunned the local community, and all three individuals have been arrested.
Timeline of the Crime
On March 19, the police received a distress call about a man found lying injured in a field. The victim was rushed to the community health center in Bidhuna, where his family was immediately notified. Despite efforts to save him, including transfers to various hospitals in Madhya Pradesh and Agra, Dilip’s condition worsened. Unfortunately, he passed away on the night of March 21.
The investigation into his death revealed a sinister plot involving three individuals. CCTV footage helped the police identify Pragati Yadav, her lover Anurag, and the contract killer, Ramji Chaudhary. The trio had conspired to eliminate Dilip for reasons that are still under investigation.

The Plot Unfolds
Superintendent of Police (Auraiya) Abijith R. Shankar explained that Pragati Yadav and Anurag had been in a relationship before Dilip’s marriage. They decided to kill him and hired Ramji Chaudhary to carry out the murder. The contract killer was paid a substantial sum of Rs 2 lakh to murder Dilip.
The police have arrested all three accused, and their involvement in the murder has been confirmed. Pragati Yadav’s decision to turn to her lover and a hired killer to eliminate her husband has left the entire community in disbelief.
The Motive Behind the Crime
While the exact motive behind the murder is still under investigation, it is believed that the plot was driven by a mix of personal and financial reasons. The police are continuing to interrogate the accused to uncover further details and the true nature of the relationship between the parties involved.
